The Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) supports stronger public health systems by helping health departments build capacity, improve performance, and demonstrate accountability. Its accreditation and recognition programs offer structured ways for departments to assess their work, strengthen infrastructure, and pursue continuous quality improvement.
