## Description

PHALANX is a board game publisher that creates and sells strategy and adventure games inspired by historical conflicts, political rivalries, and imaginative settings. Its catalogue spans competitive and cooperative experiences, with themes ranging from ancient warfare and empire-building to the American West and supernatural intrigue. Players can lead clans in a divided Japan, make consequential choices as drifters in the 1870s West, challenge rivals for control of Sherwood, or explore and expand across the Polynesian Triangle. Other titles focus on the Crusades, Anglo-Saxon England, the Punic Wars, and the struggle for Europe during the Napoleonic era. PHALANX also offers two-player strategy games, including Hannibal & Hamilcar, and games designed for groups, such as Bretwalda. The company announces new releases, preorder opportunities, and updates through its website and newsroom, and directs customers to its online shop. Across its varied range, PHALANX emphasizes tactical decision-making, diplomacy, competition, and richly themed play, bringing historical settings and dramatic fictional worlds to the tabletop.
