## Description

The International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE) is an international organization dedicated to advancing public health through the field of pharmacoepidemiology. It brings together professionals, students, and organizations interested in the study of how medicines are used and their effects in populations. ISPE supports its global community through membership, volunteer opportunities, mentoring, professional networks, and specialist communities, including committees, councils, and interest groups.

The society offers educational resources and programs, hosted webinars, an Education Center, an official journal, and access to publications and manuscripts. Its events include an annual meeting, regional conferences, and courses in pharmacoepidemiology. Members can also use the ISPE Exchange to connect with peers and share ideas, while the Career Center supports job seekers and employers. Through strategic initiatives, collaborations, funded and endorsed manuscripts, and advocacy resources, ISPE works to strengthen the discipline and encourage informed practice. The organization shares news and updates through its newsletter, blog, and other communications, and publishes progress on its 2024–2029 strategic plan.
