Philips France is committed to sustainability and recycling, working towards making the world a healthier and more sustainable place. In collaboration with TerraCycle®, they have developed a free recycling program specifically for shaving products. This program allows individuals to easily and freely recycle their used razors and blades, which would otherwise end up in landfills as they cannot be recycled in regular yellow bins. By partnering with TerraCycle®, Philips aims not only to provide a simple and accessible way for individuals to recycle their products, but also to collect funds for charitable associations and schools through the waste that is recycled. All brands of razors, blades, electric razor heads, and accessories are accepted in the program. However, electric razor handles, electronic products, cleaning stations, and cartridges cannot be recycled. Participating in the program is easy. Simply create a TerraCycle account, collect your used shaving products in a cardboard box, download and print a pre-paid shipping label from your TerraCycle account, and send the box for recycling. For every kilogram of waste sent, you can earn 100 TerraCycle points that can be redeemed as a donation to a school or charity of your choice. Philips and TerraCycle® are committed to reducing carbon emissions, and all emissions generated by the shipping process are offset through carbon reduction programs, resulting in no net carbon emissions. By recycling with TerraCycle®, you not only contribute to a more sustainable future but also support a global leader in the collection and reuse of non-recyclable waste. In addition to the shaving products recycling program, Philips also offers a separate program for recycling oral care products. To participate in either program, make sure to use the appropriate shipping labels and containers to avoid mixing different waste streams.
