## Description

Phillips Custom Rodworks is a custom fishing rod maker focused on creating one-of-a-kind rods for serious sportsmen. Led by Les Phillips, who has been building rods since 2014, the business designs and builds each rod to suit a customer’s fishing style and intended use. Its offerings include fly rods, inshore and offshore rods, spinning rods, and baitcasting rods, with custom solutions for fishing environments ranging from open water to local beaches and flats. The goal is to build a special rod for a specific purpose rather than offer a one-size-fits-all option. Customers can take part in the design process, choosing details to create a rod that is personal as well as functional. The company emphasizes quality components, individual hand-craftsmanship, performance, and attention to detail, describing its work as functional art. Design elements may include teak wood or personal keepsakes, such as a family coin. Phillips Custom Rodworks says it stands behind every rod it builds.
