## Description

The Greek Philosophical Society is a nonprofit association dedicated to bringing together Greece’s philosophical community and cultivating and promoting philosophy in Greece and internationally. It welcomes Greek citizens who hold a doctoral degree and engage in philosophical thought or demonstrate a practical interest in philosophy. Philosophers of Greek heritage living abroad may join as corresponding members. New membership is considered through an application, a recommendation by the Society’s Board of Directors, and approval by the General Assembly.

The Society supports philosophical exchange and scholarship through a range of academic activities and publications. Its work includes the Greek Philosophical Review, with issues available through its website, as well as lectures, conferences, events, seminars, books, and other publications. The site also features information about the Society’s leadership and governance. Its programme includes details of the 23rd Panhellenic Philosophical Congress, such as plenary sessions, symposia, invited sessions, and opportunities for scholarly presentations. Through these activities, the Society provides a platform for researchers and others interested in philosophy to share ideas and contribute to the discipline’s visibility and development.
