## Description

Jules Evans is a journalist, author and director of the Challenging Psychedelic Experiences Project. His work brings philosophy into conversation with modern life, making ideas accessible to people interested in living well and navigating difficult experiences. Evans has worked as a journalist and author for 20 years and has written four books. His best-known title, Philosophy for Life and Other Dangerous Situations, was published in 2012 and helped revive interest in Stoic philosophy for contemporary readers.

Through the Challenging Psychedelic Experiences Project, Evans and his team research challenging psychedelic experiences and explore what may help people who have them. The project supports people experiencing post-psychedelic crises by providing information, peer support and referrals to specialist help. The website also features Evans’s blog, information about his background, events and publications, and ways to support his work through Patreon. Together, these offerings reflect a focus on practical philosophy, public writing and support for people seeking guidance through complex experiences.
