## Description

Founded in 1933, the Philosophy of Science Association (PSA) is a professional organization dedicated to advancing research, teaching, and open discussion of philosophy of science from diverse perspectives. It supports a broad community of scholars, educators, and others interested in how science is understood and practiced. The PSA publishes periodicals, essays, and monographs, sponsors conventions and meetings, and recognizes distinguished work through awards. Its website provides access to journal content, newsletters, digital resources, archives, and the PhilSci Archive, alongside educational materials such as a syllabus repository. Members and visitors can explore conference programs and recordings, employment and funding resources, and news about events, publications, and opportunities. The association also fosters professional engagement through committees, caucuses, webinars, outreach initiatives, and support for early-career scholars, including its Sponsor-a-Scholar program and Underrepresented Philosophy of Science Scholar Initiative. Through membership, volunteering, donations, and topical or regional communities, people can participate in the PSA’s activities and help strengthen the field.
