## Description

PhishGuard is a free online security service that helps people assess suspicious links before clicking. Built in India, it provides a phishing link checker and malicious URL scanner designed for links received through WhatsApp, SMS, email, social media, and other channels. Its scanner analyzes URLs in about three seconds using more than 55 checks, including SSL certificate validation, domain age and WHOIS lookups, blacklist scanning, heuristic analysis, and brand impersonation detection. Results classify links as safe, suspicious, or high risk, with supporting information to help users decide what to do next. PhishGuard also follows shortened links through their redirects to check the destination. Its free toolkit includes an SSL checker, DNS lookup, password checker, QR scanner, link expander, IP reputation checker, and website age checker, as well as batch scanning for up to 10 URLs. The site also offers scan history, an API, phishing-awareness resources, and a feedback channel. PhishGuard states that its tools require no login and that it does not sell or share scanned URL data.
