## Description

Its flat-forum software can help groups stay in touch or serve as the foundation for a website, with features designed to balance flexibility, efficiency and ease of use. Users can download the latest stable release, update packages and language packs, and adapt their forums through a database of extensions, styles, image packages, BBCodes and official tools. The project also provides documentation, installation guidance, a user guide, a knowledge base and community support through forums, Discord and IRC. Developers and contributors can participate in discussions, report issues, suggest features and access development resources. phpBB shares release announcements, security updates and project news through its website and blog. A showcase highlights sites built with the software, while a demo lets visitors explore a fully featured board. The phpBB community supports users with setup, configuration and customisation, including guidance for those who want to modify the code for their needs.
