## Description

Phylumtech develops tools that automate behavioral testing of small animals, helping researchers make experiments simpler and faster. Its WMicrotracker product line supports organisms including C. elegans, zebrafish, parasitic worms, brine shrimp, and ticks. The systems can be used in studies of stress, aging, behavior, toxicity, ecotoxicity, chemotaxis, and anthelmintic compounds, as well as tracking and high-throughput screening.

Phylumtech offers four WMicrotracker devices. The ONE and MINI quantify the behavior of animal populations cultured in liquid, using infrared microbeam interruption detection in 96- or 384-well plates for the ONE and 96-well plates for the MINI. The ARENA measures populations in agar or liquid with an optical pixel-shift detection system and supports 6-well, 24-well, and 35 mm Petri formats. The SMART tracks adult worms in real time in agar, using image detection across up to eight 35 mm Petri dishes, and provides route graphs and quantitative data.

The company also shares application examples and research and development resources, and provides service information through its website.
