## Description

Piano City Roma is a citywide music festival that turns Rome into an open-air concert stage. Taking place on 3 and 4 October 2026, the event brings piano performances to streets, squares, parks, cultural venues, schools and other spaces across the city. Its programme features 202 concerts, 130 pianists and 93 locations, with performances running from sunrise into the evening. The festival spans a broad range of styles, including classical, jazz, contemporary, pop, film music, tango, flamenco and Brazilian, Cuban and African music, alongside varied repertoires and tributes to major composers. Piano City Roma also presents dedicated initiatives such as Piano City Scuole, Piano City Kids, Piano City Bici and House Concerts. Residents who have a piano can contact the organisers to propose small performances at home or in shared residential spaces. Designed to make music accessible to the whole city, the festival offers two days of free concerts and performances. Piano City is a concept by Andreas Kern, and Piano City Roma is produced by Cattleya Events.
