## Description

Available for iPhone and Android, it lets passengers enter a pickup point and destination, review an estimated fare range and payment options, and request a taxi. Once a driver accepts the request, the app displays the vehicle’s approach, a photo, license plate, and contact details. Passengers can also save frequently used locations to make repeat journeys easier.

For trips that need planning, piccab allows users to schedule a pickup up to seven days in advance, subject to taxi availability and acceptance. Payment can be made in the app by credit or debit card, or with Apple Pay and Google Pay on supported devices. Alternatively, passengers can pay by cash or card directly in the taxi; a payment card does not need to be stored in the app. Fare information shown before requesting a ride is an estimate, not a fixed price, and the actual fare is based on the journey and taxi meter. piccab is developed by doSoftware, with support based in Ingolstadt.
