## Description

C.V. de Piëlhaan is a carnival association based in the Landweert neighbourhood of Venray. Founded in 2010, it brings residents together through convivial, recreational events and activities throughout the carnival season. Its website shares association news, an event calendar, photographs, historical information, and details about its princes, court members, and other carnival figures. Visitors can also learn about membership, browse the webshop, and find information about sponsors and ways to support the association.

C.V. de Piëlhaan organises events including the trio’s presentation, receptions, brunches, a lantern parade, and children’s carnival celebrations such as the Krumelbal and Kukebal. The association also recognises contributions to the local community. Starting in the 2026–2027 season, it plans to award the Haantje van verdienste annually to someone who has done significant volunteer work or made another important contribution to Landweert; nominees do not need to be members. The association shares updates through its website and social media, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and thanks its platinum, gold, and silver sponsors for their support.
