## Description

Pietra di Scarto is a social cooperative based in Cerignola, Puglia, committed to promoting anti-mafia culture, sustainable agriculture, education in legality, and conscious consumption. Since 2010, it has managed the “Francesco Marcone” Laboratory of Legality, a property confiscated from the mafia, where its food products originate. The cooperative offers organic and fair trade goods, including extra-virgin olive oil, tomato passata and natural preserved tomatoes, apricot jam, wine made from Nero di Troia grapes, and other products such as oregano and lemon seasonings. Its online shop enables customers to purchase these goods and support ethical agriculture and the cooperative’s wider social mission. Pietra di Scarto also shares news and educational content through its blog and podcast, La Radio dei Poveri Cristi, and organizes activities and events. Its work includes projects supporting social inclusion and employment, including initiatives for people facing vulnerability. The cooperative welcomes support through donations and provides information about where its products can be found, alongside opportunities to engage with fair trade and legality initiatives.
