## Description

The Troy Shrine Club presents the Pike County Fair, an annual community event held in Troy, Alabama. The fair brings together entertainment, local exhibitors, sponsors, and visitors for several days of activities. Its 2024 event was scheduled for October 8 through October 12, with gates opening at 6:00 p.m. The website provides information about the schedule of events, a list of exhibits, school art exhibitors, and animals in the barn, along with photographs highlighting activities at the fair. Visitors can also learn about sponsorship opportunities and view advertisements from businesses and organizations supporting the event. Fair rides and attractions are provided by James Gang Amusements, which the site describes as featuring distinctive thrill rides; it also notes the company’s history with rides still operating today and its first Y-Factor thrill ride. Through the Pike County Fair, the Troy Shrine Club offers a seasonal gathering centered on entertainment and community participation, while recognizing its fair promoter and thanking sponsors for their support.
