## Description

Pikuma is an education platform founded by Gustavo Pezzi, a university lecturer in London, UK. The platform offers courses and tutorials in computer science, programming, and mathematics. With a focus on teaching from first principles, Pikuma aims to provide a low-level understanding of how things work. Each course is designed to be beginner-friendly and is structured like a book, allowing students to fully comprehend every formula and line of code. Pikuma creates a unique learning experience, described by one student as going on a great vacation with an excellent guide. The platform is catered to hobbyists and professional programmers, but beginners are also encouraged to join. What sets Pikuma apart is its emphasis on fundamentals, developing intuition, and avoiding sales gimmicks. Students receive weekly progress reminders to ensure course completion and can request a refund within 14 days if they're not satisfied. By covering topics such as linear algebra, algorithm complexity, trigonometry, and low-level programming, Pikuma equips learners with a comprehensive understanding of computer science.
