# People In Motion Kelowna - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `pimbc.ca` ## Description People in Motion is a volunteer-driven registered charity based in Kelowna, British Columbia, serving the Okanagan since 1987. The organization helps people with physical, cognitive, or sensory disabilities, as well as seniors who need adaptive support, participate more fully in community life. Its programs are valley-wide, locally funded, and supported by volunteers, with donations directed toward local services. An annual membership fee of $10 gives members access to programs and activities. People in Motion offers adaptive recreation and sports, including wheelchair basketball, soccer, curling, and adaptive snow sports. Its Powderhounds, Apex Adaptive Snow Sports, and Baldy Bluejays programs help participants enjoy skiing and other activities. The organization also provides accessible transportation, including tours and member access to a wheelchair-accessible van, along with adaptive equipment loans. Through Kids In Motion, AbleSail Okanagan, and its Myra Canyon bicycle rentals and tours, it creates further opportunities for recreation and exploration. People in Motion also supports accessible outings and experiences on Okanagan Lake, local trails, and beaches. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Developmental and Physical Disabilities _(under Health)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/PeopleInMotionKelowna) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id33oFPRde/w/209/h/90/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793010225984) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id33oFPRde/w/178/h/178/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793010226111) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Sushi | #93c248 | accent | | Botticelli | #c5d3e0 | light | | Brick Red | #ce272d | dark | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ - var(--the7-base-font-family) — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
