## Description

United Scrap Metal is a full-service recycling company established in 1978. From a $200 investment and a rental truck, it has grown into one of the country’s largest full-service recyclers, operating eight locations across seven states. Its Florida operation has two locations and offers recycling solutions guided by decades of experience and a commitment to customers and communities.

The company buys scrap metal and obsolete metal items, including cookware, grills, lawnmowers, sinks, and power tools. Individuals can bring in recyclables, with no minimum load size, and receive cash. Businesses and other customers can use staffed facilities where personnel and equipment help unload materials; state-certified scales, including a truck scale, are available.

For larger or time-sensitive needs, United Scrap Metal provides on-demand flatbed service for bulky items such as heavy equipment and rooftop cooling units. It also delivers roll-off containers for demolition, renovation, and similar projects. Container options include well-maintained roll-offs, various sizes of containers, custom bins, and secure containers designed for outdoor storage and valuable alloys.
