PROESA Procesos Electroforeticos SA de CV, also known as Proesa, is a Mexican company that specializes in coatings for metal and plastic parts. As a part of the Industries division of Protexa, Proesa has been in operation since 1987. Initially, Proesa provided manual coatings for the General Motors Company, focusing on engine caps, crankcases, and chassis supports.

In 1989, the company inaugurated its plant in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, and in 2000, it opened another plant in San Luis Potosí. Both plants are equipped with automated and robotic processes, ensuring high-quality coatings that meet the strict requirements set by customers in the automotive, household appliance, and electronics industries. Proesa offers electrophoresis coating (e-coat) services for metal parts and liquid painting for plastic parts.
