Pioneer Catchment & Landcare Group Inc. (PCL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering our community to build biodiverse ecosystems. Established in the early 1990s, PCL is one of the first catchment groups in Queensland, covering a vast area from the Whitsunday region to Sarina and the Isaac region, extending west to Eungella and the Clark Connors Range.

Through collaborative partnerships, PCL implements a science-based approach to natural resource management, focusing on the sustainable management of lands, rivers, and coastal regions in the Pioneer catchment. Their services include vegetation and land management advice, nursery landcare, land for wildlife support, and more. Additionally, PCL promotes regenerative agricultural practices and the conservation of native flora and fauna.
