## Description

Pioneer School Ball Hockey League is a youth sports organization serving Long Island, New York, and surrounding areas. Formerly known as NY Ball Hockey, the league continues its mission of making hockey accessible through an affordable, welcoming alternative to ice hockey. It offers co-ed programs for young players, with age-appropriate divisions intended to help participants learn and compete alongside their peers. The Middle School Division is for boys and girls in grades 6–8; the league also describes programs for elementary and high school players.

Players develop stickhandling, passing, shooting, game awareness, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a supportive, competitive environment. The league aims to help children build confidence, stay active, improve coordination and endurance, and enjoy the game at different experience levels. Families can register players and access schedules, statistics, standings, rules, and league information through the organization. Games take place at locations in East Meadow, at a ball hockey surface near the Northwell Health Ice Center, and at Central Islip Community Park.
