## Description

Pionix develops software and engineering solutions for the electric vehicle charging industry, with a focus on making charging more seamless, secure, and accessible. The company initiated EVerest, an open-source EV charger software stack hosted by LF Energy, and continues to contribute to its development. Designed for hardware ranging from development kits to production chargers, EVerest brings together charging functions and support for standards including OCPP, ISO 15118, DIN 70121, and SLAC.

Pionix’s offerings include ChargeBridge, which combines low-level charging logic on a microcontroller with EVerest on Linux, and Pionix Cloud, a backend for charger development, testing, fleet maintenance, and monitoring. The company also provides engineering services, including EVerest integration and customization, software driver development, hardware enablement, training, and design and architecture reviews. Its custom controller solutions pair pre-validated hardware with EVerest and cloud services, helping manufacturers develop prototypes and bring products to market. Through open-source software and hands-on technical support, Pionix helps charging companies build, test, deploy, and maintain EV charging products.
