## Description

The Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS) is an institution dedicated to parliamentary excellence and the development of effective parliamentary services in Pakistan. It supports members and staff of parliament, provincial assemblies, government officers, civil society, and young people through a broad programme of learning, research, and public engagement.

PIPS offers capacity-building courses, orientations, seminars, workshops, and exchange programmes on parliamentary procedures, legislative processes, committee functions, and related topics. Its outreach includes public hearings, legal and civic education, youth engagement, and conferences for national and international participants. The institute also provides parliamentary research and knowledge resources, including briefing papers, research digests, infographics, articles, reports, handbooks, and guides. Its learning services include online learning and knowledge-management resources, alongside a parliamentary studies library.

Through its programmes and publications, PIPS helps participants strengthen their understanding of democratic institutions and parliamentary practice. It also hosts events and collaborates with partner organisations on initiatives related to parliamentary development, inclusion, and public service.
