## Description

Pirkanmaan Karting ry, known as PirKa, is a karting club founded in 1990 and based around Lentola Karting Park in Kangasala, Finland. The club describes itself as one of the country’s largest and most active karting associations. Its website provides information about club activities, membership, track use, events and local karting enthusiasts.

PirKa organizes local and national races, alongside activities for both newcomers and experienced competitors. Its programme includes Flying Finn evenings for beginners, junior evenings, driver camps for new karting drivers and technical training for mechanics. Junior evenings take place during the summer, and participants can drive their own kart or use a club kart. The club currently does not offer rental karts.

Karting is presented as a family-friendly hobby that can begin at a young age and develop into recreational driving or competitive racing. PirKa also supports members through its Pirka Driver Academy and hosts events across a range of karting categories. The organization shares updates on events, track arrangements and membership through its website and Facebook page.
