## Description

Pískovna Lysá is a private sport-fishing venue in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, about 25 minutes from Prague and near Lysá nad Labem. The 3-hectare former sand quarry has clear water, a sandy bottom and depths reaching 7.4 metres. Its stocked waters are home to carp, grass carp, Russian and Siberian sturgeon, tench, pike, zander, perch, eel and other fish.

The fishery offers ten designated spots, each for up to two anglers, with fishing permitted around the clock using two rods. Its catch-and-release approach is supported by detailed rules for safe fish handling and equipment; a fishing licence is not required. Each spot includes space for a bivvy and vehicle, and selected locations have shelters, electrical connections or access for caravans. Facilities include dry toilets, while the manager can lend boats and landing equipment, provide food storage and sell firewood or pre-ordered cooked corn. Anglers can reserve day or multi-day permits and enjoy a quiet lakeside setting, including scenic sunsets.
