Pivorak is a Ruby Community in Lviv, Ukraine, known as the biggest community of Rubyists in the country. They take pride in being the friendliest Ruby community in Europe. Pivorak organizes monthly meetups where Ruby enthusiasts come together to share their experiences and solve puzzles. What makes Pivorak stand out is that all their events are free of charge, and their budget is completely transparent to all community members. They rely solely on donations of time, money, and effort to run their community. Pivorak hosts a variety of events including technical talks, workshops, courses, Rails Girls, and Rails Teens. They also empower Ruby developers to grow both as engineers and individuals. With over 5 years of existence, Pivorak has organized 40+ meetups, 5 conferences, 3 Ruby Summer Courses, and has attracted over 1000 attendees. They have a team of dedicated volunteers who support all the community's initiatives, making them a kickstarter for people without public speaking experience.
