## Description

PixyCam is a leader in robotic vision technology, offering innovative solutions that make it easy for enthusiasts and developers to integrate visual capabilities into their robotic creations. Originating as part of a project at Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute, the Pixy brand evolved from the first affordable vision sensor, CMUcam, launched in 1999. The latest iteration, Pixy2, is a refined version that is smaller, faster, and more efficient, enhancing ease of use for projects related to Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and LEGO Mindstorms.

Since its Kickstarter debut in 2013, Pixy has gained popularity among robot builders and makers, offering a range of products designed to bring interactivity and functionality to robotic designs. The brand also fosters a vibrant community through forums, documentation, and support, ensuring users have the resources they need for successful project implementation. Through continuous innovation and user engagement, PixyCam remains at the forefront of the robotics industry, transforming how vision technology is incorporated into various applications.
