## Description

Prague Parkour PK1 is a parkour sports club offering training for children, young people and adults in Prague and the surrounding area. Its approach combines old-school parkour, Georges Hébert’s natural movement method, parcours du combattant and obstacle course racing (OCR). Rather than focusing on performance or social-media spectacle, the club uses movement to develop body awareness, attention, independence, resilience and confidence.

Training builds strength, speed, agility, endurance and flexibility through functional exercises using body weight. Participants practise techniques repeatedly and learn to assess risks, adapt their movements and overcome obstacles efficiently. Sessions take place mainly outdoors on varied surfaces, including concrete, grass, gravel and soil, with attention to age, ability and safety. The club offers regular classes for different age groups, adult sessions, individual lessons, workshops and camps, as well as exhibitions. Adult training can also include acrobatics, strength work and running. PK1 emphasizes teamwork and mutual support, while treating children’s privacy with care.
