## Description

The Planetary Health Check is a pioneering global initiative focused on assessing and maintaining the health of the Earth system through a rigorous, science-based approach. Built on the Planetary Boundaries framework, this initiative aims to monitor environmental changes, identify risks, and recommend urgent actions for sustainable solutions. The initiative produces an annual report that serves as a vital resource for policymakers, business leaders, the media, and the general public, enhancing understanding of our planet's status and the latest scientific findings.

Led by renowned scientists like Johan Rockström from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, Katherine Richardson from the University of Copenhagen, and the late Will Steffen from the Australian National University, the Planetary Health Check assembles diverse scientific perspectives to highlight the critical importance of establishing safe operating spaces for humanity. This comprehensive effort not only evaluates environmental challenges but also proposes actionable insights for safeguarding our planet's future against the backdrop of human-induced changes.
