## Description

PLAN is a Multitype Library Cooperative (MLC) that serves a vital role in the Florida Panhandle region, encompassing sixteen counties. Established in 1991 and operating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, PLAN supports a diverse membership, which includes academic, public, specialized, and school libraries. Governed by a Board of Directors elected from member library directors, PLAN aims to foster collaboration and resource sharing among its members, ensuring they can provide high-quality services to their communities.

PLAN's mission focuses on collaborating with various partners to improve access to information and resources while addressing regional needs related to education, economic development, and quality of life.
