PLAN of MA & RI is Planned Lifetime Assistance Network, a non-profit organization that provides trustee/fiduciary services, trust administration, and social service support to individuals and families living with disabilities in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. They specialize in effective and appropriate special needs estate planning and financial planning by offering two types of trusts. First party trusts can be funded by individuals for themselves, while third-party trusts can be funded by others for an individual with special needs.

PLAN offers pooled special needs trusts that protect benefits and provide service coordination. They have two different types of Pooled Trusts: MARC Special Needs Pooled Trust and PLAN of Massachusetts and Rhode Island Third Party Special Needs Trust. These trusts ensure that public benefits continue to be available, additional benefits are accessed, and reporting requirements are fulfilled.

PLAN also arranges for direct services to be provided to beneficiaries, including shopping, companionship, cleaning, and financial management.
