## Description

Plant Advanced Technologies SA (PAT) is a plant biotechnology company that discovers and produces rare, plant-derived active ingredients for the cosmetic, pharmaceutical and agrochemical markets. The company combines plant biotechnology, vegetal-based chemistry and metabolic engineering to identify valuable molecules and develop them for industrial production. Its approach aims to make rare compounds available while preserving plant biodiversity, with controlled processes from plant cultivation through to the final product.

PAT’s technologies include PAT Exudactive®, focused on plant extraction, and PAT Target Binding®. The company also develops products such as cosmetic active ingredients, including HydraQueen Exudactive®, and participates in research into plant-based biomolecules for applications ranging from cosmetics and pharmaceuticals to nutraceuticals and biocontrol. Its work spans horticulture and aeroponics, supported by collaborative projects with academic, industrial and research partners in France and across Europe.

Founded 20 years ago, PAT presents innovation and sustainability as central to its activities. Its social responsibility and sustainable development performance received the EcoVadis 2024 Gold Medal.
