## Description

PlantWild is a brand that specializes in growing and delivering British wildflowers to all sectors in the UK. They pride themselves on their commitment to sustainability by growing their wildflowers in peat-free compost at their Somerset nursery. In addition to their wildflower range, PlantWild also offers a wide selection of herbaceous perennials and ornamental grasses, all grown without the use of peat. The brand is owned by Steven and Lindsay Lister, a husband and wife team with a solid background in horticulture. Steven has studied at both Oaklands Horticultural College and Cannington Horticultural College, while Lindsay holds a BSc Hons in Horticulture from Bath University. Their combined expertise and experience have led them to establish their own nursery and pursue their passion for native wildflowers. PlantWild propagates most of their plants from hand-harvested seed sourced within the UK. They also purchase additional supplies from registered UK seed suppliers to ensure the highest quality. Their propagating process is manual, ensuring close attention to detail for every plant. They use propagating polytunnels for seed starting and allow the plants to grow in their natural environment once developed. The brand prioritizes sustainability and environmentally-friendly practices. They do not use heat in their tunnels, rely on biodiversity for pest control, and use organic seaweed extract plant food for feeding when necessary. If pests become problematic, they use an organic and non-chemical spray that is safe for the plants, the environment, and the food chain. PlantWild aims to support your wildflower projects through their expertise and range of peat-free plants. They welcome inquiries about stock availability, advice on projects, or bespoke quotations. Their nursery is open to the public from April to October, and order collections can be arranged year-round. If you're looking to enhance your garden or create a wildlife-friendly space, PlantWild is the brand to turn to for all your native wildflower needs.
