## Description

Platypus Asset Management is an Australian equities investment manager whose approach has centred on long-term performance, disciplined research and high-conviction portfolio management. Since 1998, the firm has offered investors a growth-oriented strategy focused on the Australian share market. Its investment process combines qualitative and quantitative analysis, with a small-cap bias and an emphasis on companies with strong earnings profiles.

The brand’s offering featured the Platypus Australian Equities Fund, providing investors with exposure to Australian shares. Fund information included historical performance data, fund documents and announcements, alongside guidance on performance calculations and investment risks. Investors were encouraged to consult a financial adviser and review the relevant disclosure documents when considering the fund.

Australian Unity Funds Management Limited acted as the fund’s responsible entity. The available information states that it determined to terminate and wind up the Platypus Australian Equities Fund, effective 8 September 2026, and includes related termination and wind-up notices. For general enquiries, investors were directed to Australian Unity’s Investor Services team or their financial adviser.
