## Description

Play Where You Stay is a Memphis nonprofit organization working to make quality soccer accessible to children, especially those in underserved communities. Its programs bring coaching and play to neighborhood parks and other local spaces, helping reduce barriers related to cost and transportation. The organization aims to support children’s development on and off the field while creating safe, welcoming places for families and communities to connect.

The Neighborhood program serves children in kindergarten through fifth grade with after-school sessions three afternoons a week, focusing on fun and skill development. Game Day offers weekly Saturday soccer for K–5th graders, combining small-sided games, instruction, and opportunities to build friendships. Older youth ages 12–18 can join Academy teams for club-level training and competition. The annual Neighborhood World Cup brings Neighborhood players together for a community tournament. Play Where You Stay also trains and employs local young adults as coaches, creating mentorship and work opportunities.
