About

Description

Pleasant View Communities, located in Manheim, PA, has a rich history rooted in compassion and community. The brand's story began in 1955 when three extraordinary women, Edna Hoffer, Grace Barto, and Esther Henry, came together with a shared vision to establish Pleasant View Rest Home. They purchased land across from the Hoffer farm and built a nursing home that would provide care for the elderly.

As time went on, Pleasant View evolved to meet the changing needs of its residents. In 1972, it became a non-profit organization and recruited volunteers to serve on its board of directors. Under new leadership, renovations and expansions took place, including the addition of personal care, apartments, cottages, units for residents with dementia, and a core building.

Today, Pleasant View Communities is a thriving continuing care retirement community. They offer a range of residential living options, including West Lawn Cottages and Apartments, as well as various care options such as personal care, skilled nursing care, memory care, and rehabilitation services. At Pleasant View Communities, residents can enjoy a fulfilling and vibrant lifestyle while receiving the care and support they need.

With a strong commitment to their mission and values, Pleasant View Communities provides a warm and welcoming environment for seniors and their families
