## Description

Plechtigheid Online is a digital service platform developed by Maximedia to help crematoria manage funeral ceremonies and make arrangements easier for bereaved families and funeral directors. Integrated into a crematorium’s existing website, the platform brings planning and ceremony-related services together online, with tools that can also be accessed by funeral directors on smartphones and tablets.

Families and funeral directors can select music from an online catalogue or upload their own tracks, then add photographs or videos to accompany the ceremony. Crematoria can use the planning module to organise services and share availability, while funeral directors can submit cremation details through an online form based on a format established by the LVC. Planning information can also be linked to display screens so visitors and staff can see which service is taking place.

For those unable to attend, the platform supports live internet broadcasts, full ceremony recordings, and later viewing or downloads. Families can choose who receives access to recordings through individual access codes, helping them share these private memories selectively.
