## Description

Plecotus Solutions GmbH develops and supplies lightweight radio transmitters for wildlife telemetry, supporting research and monitoring of bats, birds, insects, and other species. Its product range includes models with different weights, operating lifetimes, and power levels, allowing researchers to select equipment suited to an animal’s size and project requirements. Listed transmitters weigh from approximately 0.17 grams, with specified lifetimes ranging from more than three to more than fourteen days, depending on the model. For projects that cannot be served by a standard option, Plecotus Solutions offers custom transmitters that can be tailored to the application. The company also provides product information, technical guidance, pricing, quotes, and equipment resources. Its transmitters operate in the 150 MHz band and may be compatible with receiving systems that record in that band, although compatibility should be confirmed with the receiver manufacturer when needed. Plecotus Solutions advises storing transmitters in dry, dark, cool conditions and notes that delivery times vary with seasonal demand. The company also promotes PlecSo CAR for direction-finding from a vehicle.
