## Description

Werkgroep Pleistocene Zoogdieren (WPZ) is a passionate association dedicated to the collection and study of Pleistocene mammal fossils, serving both amateur and professional paleontologists. Based in the Netherlands, WPZ offers a lively community for members keen on exploring the fascinating world of prehistoric wildlife. The association hosts four annual meetings, providing opportunities for members to connect, learn, and share their discoveries.

Members receive the esteemed journal "Cranium," published biannually, which is richly filled with scientific articles and background information about Pleistocene fauna. Additionally, members can take part in engaging excursions and access exclusive newsletters that keep them informed about the latest research and events.

WPZ also features a web store where interested individuals can purchase books such as "Fascinerende fossielen," which delves into fifty notable Dutch fossils. Whether you’re a budding paleontologist or a seasoned expert, WPZ is the ultimate destination for anyone captivated by the Ice Age animals and their ancient habitats.
