The OWWL Library System, formerly known as the Pioneer Library System, is a cooperative public library system in New York State. It provides support and resources to 42 independent libraries across Ontario, Wayne, Wyoming, and Livingston Counties. The mission of the OWWL Library System is to support library services in these counties, ensuring that everyone has equitable access to library resources.


The system operates based on core values of access, community, and intellectual freedom. In addition to offering a vast collection of books and materials, the OWWL Library System provides digital library resources, outreach programs, and various services to member libraries and other institutions. Members can easily search and request items through the online catalog and utilize their account to place holds or renew items.
