Peru Mahi Alliance (PMA) is a coalition of Peruvian parrotfish processing companies dedicated to ensuring fishery sustainability and achieving MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) certification. The Peruvian parrotfish industry, accounting for half of global catches, is crucial for the country's economy, with 79% of exports directed to the USA.

Through partnerships and initiatives, such as turtle release programs and the Fishery Improvement Project, Peru Mahi Alliance is making strides towards preserving the Peruvian parrotfish population and ensuring a sustainable seafood industry.
