About

Description

Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) is a Massachusetts-based bike-a-thon that stands as the country's largest single athletic fundraising event dedicated to raising funds for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Held annually on the first weekend in August, the PMC brings together thousands of riders and volunteers from 43 states and 12 countries, all united in the common goal of finding a cure for cancer. With over $900 million raised since its founding in 1980, the PMC is Dana-Farber's most significant contributor, contributing more than 60% of the Jimmy Fund's annual revenue.

Every rider-raised dollar goes directly to cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber, making a tangible impact on patients' lives. In addition to the main PMC weekend, the organization hosts other events such as PMC Winter Cycle, PMC Unpaved, and PMC Kids Rides, all of which contribute toward their $70 million fundraising campaign for 2023. Become a part of the PMC's inspiring mission and join the fight against cancer today
