## Description

Wave Rider is a developing relationship-focused tool designed to help couples navigate the emotional and relational challenges of premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). Rather than serving as a general cycle tracker, it aims to help partners recognize patterns and stay connected through difficult phases of the cycle. The planned app offers features to anticipate cycle-related shifts, check in with one another, and track mood, needs, conflict, and connection. Conversation prompts and shared insights are intended to support communication, ease tension, and help couples better understand recurring experiences.

Wave Rider presents PMDD as something that can affect both individuals and their relationships, and centers awareness, wellbeing, and collaboration. The project is still in development, with its creators inviting feedback and experiences to help shape the product. Interested users can sign up for early access and updates, while the website also offers information about PMDD and promotes a couples workshop titled “Riding the Wave: PMDD & Relationships.” Beyond the app, Wave Rider describes itself as a movement advocating for awareness, connection, and a future in which PMDD does not define a person’s life.
