## Description

Parrot is a prominent Nigerian news outlet dedicated to delivering timely and relevant information across various sectors including politics, education, and corporate affairs. With a focus on the pressing financial challenges faced by Nigerians, Parrot recently highlighted the plight of individuals dealing with "hanging funds" resulting from unsuccessful financial transactions. This issue rose to prominence after the Central Bank of Nigeria's monetary policy changes initiated by former governor Godwin Emefiele, aimed at promoting a cashless economy, inadvertently led to a backlog in transactions costing the public nearly three trillion naira.

In addition to financial news, Parrot covers various topics such as sports, local government developments, and community initiatives, ensuring its audience stays informed about significant events and trends. By providing investigative journalism, opinion pieces, and special reports, Parrot strives to empower its readers with knowledge that drives positive change in their lives and communities.
