## Description

NAPS, or the National Association for Premenstrual Syndromes, is a dedicated charity established in 1984 with a mission to provide invaluable information, advice, and support for individuals affected by premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), along with their families. The organization aims to ensure that PMS is effectively managed while fostering a better understanding of the condition within the medical community.

NAPS offers an array of resources, including an extensive website filled with general advice, specialized information for members, and the unique "Ask the Experts" service. Active on social media, NAPS engages community members through dedicated Facebook and Twitter pages, enhancing emotional and practical support. Committed to healthcare improvement, NAPS organizes educational events for professionals, facilitates communication between patients and healthcare providers, and disseminates vital guidelines on PMS treatment. Through these initiatives, NAPS serves as a crucial lifeline for those dealing with PMS not only in the UK but globally, promoting awareness and encouraging research in this vital area of women's health.
