## Description

Smart Village Training Program is an online learning initiative focused on helping people in Papua New Guinea build practical skills for agriculture, business, and the digital economy. Its free courses are designed to be flexible and accessible, allowing learners to study at their own pace and join a wider learning community. The program works with training centers and partners, including the Cocoa Board Training Center, Spice Board (Vanilla) Training Center, and National Fisheries College.

Course topics include cocoa and vanilla farming, aquaculture, digital literacy, e-commerce, sustainable business planning, climate and agriculture, gender, and agrometeorology. Practical training covers the stages of crop production and marketing, farm management, tilapia aquaculture, basic computer skills, and selling products through e-commerce applications. Learners can also explore digital agriculture strategies, financial literacy, MiBank mobile banking, and Digicel Moni. Through its online course platform, Smart Village Training Program offers learning resources intended to support farmers, entrepreneurs, and other community members in applying new knowledge to their livelihoods and professional development.
