## Description

Parliamentarians for Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament (PNND) is an international network that engages legislators in efforts to advance nuclear disarmament and prevent the spread of nuclear weapons. Its members include parliamentarians from countries around the world, supported by coordinators, leaders, and regional sections. PNND promotes cooperation among lawmakers and connects parliamentary action with international diplomacy, civil society initiatives, and global policy discussions.

The organization offers resources and practical guidance to help parliamentarians contribute to these goals. Its materials include examples of parliamentary best practices, legislation, motions, resolutions, questions, and joint statements, as well as directories of parliaments, international bodies, and nongovernmental organizations. PNND also shares publications, handbooks, annual reports, news, and multimedia coverage of its activities.

Members and supporters can participate by joining PNND, engaging new parliamentarians, organizing events, introducing motions or legislation, and contributing to initiatives on topics such as gender, peace and security, international humanitarian law, and nuclear-weapon-free zones. Through events, policy proposals, and outreach, PNND encourages governments to strengthen non-proliferation and pursue practical steps toward disarmament.
