## Description

Poças is a family-owned Portuguese wine house established in 1918, with historic cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia and vineyards in the Douro Valley. Still run by the family whose name it bears, the company brings together four generations of winemaking and three estates: Quinta das Quartas, Quinta de Santa Bárbara and Quinta Vale de Cavalos.

Its range includes Port wines such as Tawny, Vintage, Colheita and white Port, alongside Douro DOC wines. The selection features reds, whites and distinctive releases such as orange wine, with bottles offered for different occasions, from family meals and barbecues to dinners with friends. Poças also sells olive oil.

Visitors can book visits and wine tastings at the Gaia cellars, where they can learn about the place where the Port wines mature. The company also offers experiences at Quinta das Quartas in the Douro, with vineyard, landscape and local tradition at the centre, as well as events and gastronomy.
