## Description

Podium Biarritz is an audiovisual production and distribution organization founded by Corine Meijers in early 2025. Working across borders, it initiates and produces original projects while collaborating with filmmakers, artists and partners internationally. Its focus is on heartfelt, timely stories presented through creative forms and perspectives. The organization is associated with Studio Biarritz, a production house that develops projects and works with collaborators on audiovisual storytelling.

Podium Biarritz’s projects span documentary, immersive and interactive work. Lesbian Simulator, created by Iris van der Meule, is an interactive virtual reality artwork and video game that invites users to experience aspects of life from a lesbian perspective. It combines humour and joy with themes of discrimination, identity, love and inclusion. Lacuna, directed by Maartje Wegdam and Nienke Huitenga, brings together conversations, animation, 3D modelling and personal footage to explore memory and family history. Hellfighter, a Modern Odyssey, by Yvonne van Ulden and Onias Landveld, is described as a road movie where reality meets delusion and myth.
